The Pont du Gard, the Gorges of the Gardon
and the region of Uzès

The mediaeval city of Uzès, the first duchy of France, located in a garrigue landscape, can be seen from far
off thanks to its three towers which represent
the powers of the mediaeval period :
- the bishop's tower,
- the duke's tower,
- the king's tower.

In addition to these three towers there is the beautiful silhouette of the rounded steeple of the ancient cathedral, commonly called the Fenestrelle tower.
